PONY Nationals swings into Round Rock! Come watch amazing athletes compete for the national title!
Farah Tary
When I was 4 years old I got into ballet and continued until I was around 11. At the same time I tried playing softball for a season and then played soccer from the age of 8 to 12. I then got into the athletic department in middle school. Round Rock is most definitely the best city to live in to raise a family and get them active with all the different options. After I realized that I wasn’t the best at sports I devoted my time to regular work outs at the gym and dance in high school. I now go to Gold’s gym Monday through Friday for at least an hour a day. I’m definitely an elliptical and Stairmaster junkie! I have also recently started practicing yoga which is by far the body therapy I have ever experienced.
WHY A SCOT AMBASSADOR: I decided to become a SCOT Ambassador after I got back into working out after a year of laziness for lack of a better word. I remember how much fun it was to feel good and healthy so out of all the different programs to be part of my community I felt like this one would be the most interesting, creative and best experience to fit my lifestyle.
PERSONAL FUN FACT: I’m the kind of person who looks for the natural and healthiest solution to everything. It’s weird but I love health food and opting things like brown sugar instead of refined sugar and keeping a simple low cal diet.
